Jung Woo-sung boards creature feature Attack of the Water Monster

Amidst this very slow news day comes word out of Twitch Film that CHAW director Jung Woo-sung will helm the Joseon Era creature feature, JAKSEOUI BYEON: ATTACK OF THE WATER MONSTER. So, for those of you who can't get enough creature features in your lives, this one sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

Based on a story from 1527 during the reign of King Jungjong, Jung will play Yoon Gyeom, the King's loyal subject who goes after a monster endangering the monarch as well as a faction intent on removing him from the throne.

The film will be produced by Taewon Entertainment and is set to start filming at the end of February. Keep an eye here for more on this one!
