Liberation Pictures has acquired the black comedy/horror flick JUST BURIED – with a fall distribution planned – according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Written and directed by Chaz Thorne, JUST BURIED is about the increasingly questionable exploits of a young man who inherits his late father’s struggling funeral home. With the help of a cute mortician, he starts providing his new company with business.

Gee, wonder what that means… While the old “help the struggling undertaking business via murder” plot is nothing extraordinarily new, it’s always a good platform for amusing/disturbing comedic hi jinx – my favorite!

The film stars cutie Rose Byrne (pictured below), Jay Baruchel, and Graham Greene.
