The filmmaking duo of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are building a fan base for themselves with their work in the horror genre, which includes RESOLUTION, SPRING, and the Bonestorm segment of V/H/S: VIRAL. Although the genre was not specified in the announcement, it is expected that Benson and Moorhead will be continuing to venture into dark territory with their next directorial effort, THE ENDLESS.
In addition to directing the film, Benson and Moorhead will also be starring in it alongside Tate Ellington, Callie Hernandez, Lew Temple, James Jordan, Kira Powell, Emily Montague, Peter Cilella, Vinny Curran, and Shane Brady.
That cast list is the only thing that has been revealed about what we can expect to see on the screen in this movie. All other details about the project are being kept under wraps.
A co-production between Benson and Moorhead's producing partner David Lawson Jr., Love & Death Productions, and Pfaff & Pfaff Productions, THE ENDLESS is now filming in San Diego.
I'm not very familiar with Benson and Moorhead's work; the only thing I've seen of theirs was the V/H/S: VIRAL segment, and nothing about that movie impressed me very much. However, Richard Linklater and Guillermo del Toro were both fans of SPRING and they have assembled some interesting co-stars for THE ENDLESS, so I will be digging deeper into their filmography and looking forward to finding out more information on this latest project.
