Another new face has joined Nicolas Winding Refn’s female-driven horror film THE NEON DEMON as Variety reports that STONEWALL actor Karl Glusman landed a role in the film. We recently caught some possible details about the film that hinted at a cannibalistic tale dealing with a group of supermodels who do terrible things in order to maintain their beauty. Other than that, though, details on this one are still being kept under wraps.
Glusman will star alongside the previously announced Keanu Reeves, Christina Hendricks, Abbey Lee, Jena Malone, Bella Heathcote and Elle Fanning. With production set to begin this March 30th, I’d imagine we’ll be learning a lot more about this one sooner than later.
Refn’s regular collaborators, editor Matthew Newman and composer Cliff Martinez, will be joined by The Grandmaster director of photography Philippe Le Sourd on the film. Refn’s partner, Lene Borglum, will produce under their Space Rocket banner.
