Underworld Kate Beckinsale

The trailer for UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS, the fifth installment in the "vampires vs. werewolves" series, was released online yesterday, and to coincide with that event the official Underworld Movies Facebook page hosted a live Q&A with franchise star Kate Beckinsale.

Answering questions asked in the Facebook comments section, Beckinsale covered various topics related to  UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS and what we can expect to see in it (although she herself has not yet seen the movie), while also discussing her experience working on the UNDERWORLD franchise as a whole. She has been making these movies for thirteen years now, so she can tell you quite a few things about the time she has spent on the sets… and I have to say, she's quite down-to-earth and charming while doing so. You can see for yourself in the video below.

Directed by Anna Foerster from a screenplay by Cory Goodman, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS has the following synopsis:

The next installment in the blockbuster franchise follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.

The film reaches theatres on January 6, 2017.
