Kayden Rose getting ready for a dark tale of sex & gore in Thanatomorphose

On this relatively slow news day I happened to stumble upon a project that can really only be described as disturbing… but in a good way of course. I’m talking about something called THANATOMORPHOSE, which is coming our way from Thanato Films and Candian director Éric Falardeau.

Let me guess, you want details right? Good because I’m going to give them to you! First up apparently Thanatomorphose is a french word meaning the visible signs of an organism’s decomposition caused by death. Now we don’t have much of a synopsis but here’s what we do know:

One day, the young and beautiful Laura wakes up and finds her flesh rotting…

A strange and claustrophobic tale of sexuality, horror and body fluids…

THANATAMORPHOSE.

Do you even need to know any more than that? No I didn’t think so. Word dropped today via a press release that actress/model Kayden Rose had gone and scored herself the leading role in THANATOMORPHOSE. Now I know absolutely nothing about Rose, THANATOMORPHOSE or Thanato Films but my gut is telling me this is pretty spot-on casting. I’m going to go ahead and roll with that. Joining Rose in the twisted flick will be Davyd Tousignant, Émile Beaudry, Karine Picard, Roch-Denis Gagnon and Eryka L. Cantieri.

THANATOMORPHOSE is set to kick off production next month for a Winter/Spring 2012 release.
