Keanu Reeves & Alex Winter congratulate San Dimas High School 2020 grads

In these uncertain times (I sound like every commercial over the past two months), it's all the more important to remember to be excellent to each other, and that's a message that BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter passed on to the 2020 graduating class of San Dimas High School. If you weren't aware (shame on you), the characters of William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. (Alex Winter) and Theodore "Ted" Logan (Keanu Reeves) attended San Dimas High School in the original films.

As we know, COVID-19 has shut down schools across the country, meaning that students who should be attending their graduation ceremonies right about now have had to do so virtually, but on a plus side, you get a personal message from Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter!

"We know it’s a tough time right now and you’re having to do this virtual graduation. We want to wish you the best of luck moving forward," said Winter in the clip, with Reeves adding, "Congratulations to the graduating class of 2020. Well done!" Of course, the pair couldn't resist throwing in a few BILL & TED nods as well. You can check out the video of their appearance below, starting at 18:27.

The official synopsis for BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC:

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.

At the moment, BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC is still slated to hit theaters on August 21, 2020, but whether that release will stick will depend on the state of the COVID-19 shut-down.
