Keanu Reeves’ Duke Caboom explodes onto a new Toy Story 4 TV promo

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together and start your engines for TOY STORY 4's own caped Canadian daredevil, Duke Caboom! Voiced by our very own Canuck, Keanu Reeves, the Toronto-lovin' trickster now has his own TV Spot for Pixar's upcoming animation, which paints the maple leaf-wearin' wildman as a cross between Super Dave Osborne and Evil Knievel. Much like Buzz Lightyear's startling revelation in the original TOY STORY film, Caboom's abilities might not live up to the hype of his action-packed commercial. That's okay, though. Much of a toy's value is found in the imaginations of the children that play with them, and there sure are lots of exciting stunts and scenarios to be had for an action figure like Duke Caboom!

Directed by Pixar alum Josh Cooley, TOY STORY 4 stars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Christina Hendricks, Keanu Reeves, Annie Potts, Kristen Schall, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Jeff Pidgeon, Blake Clark, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele and Tony Hale.

Here's the official synopsis for the film:

When a new toy called "Forky" joins Woody and the gang, a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy.

In addition to Forky's introduction, TOY STORY 4 will find Woody reunited with Bo Peep, who invites Woody to consider the possibilities of leaving playtime behind for a life filled with adventure, carnival rides, and surprises waiting around corner of the world.

TOY STORY 4 will arrive in theaters on June 21st.
