Kevin James and Adam Sandler are quite sweet on each other.
They’ve been together for I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY, GROWN-UPS, and James had a small cameo in Sandler’s DON’T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN. Now the pair might team-up again for VALET GUYS.
Sony Pictures just bought the pitch for the film about, “veteran valet parking guys at a South Beach hotel who witness a murder and find themselves running for their lives.” Sounds a little like PINEAPPLE EXPRESS sans the weed.
The project is a potential vehicle for both James and Sandler.
Nick Bakay and James will write the script together. Bakay’s name may not sound familiar to you, but his voice might. Did you ever watch Nickelodeon’s THE ANGRY BEAVERS? Well he does the voice of Nerbert. Ladies, did you ever watch SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH? He provided the voice for the cat, Salem. Bakay has worked with James on KING OF QUEENS, PAUL BLART: MALL COP, and recently ZOOKEEPER.
