Aside from refuting rumors that he wrote a fake screenplay for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, Kevin Smith shared an update on the numerous screenplays he has been working on the past year. Alongside CLERKS III, YOGA HOSERS, MOOSE JAWS, ANTI-CLAUS, and a TV pilot, Smith has been hard at work helming his horror film TUSK with Haley Joel Osment, Justin Long, and Michael Parks.

To date, we have not seen much from TUSK outside of a few little hints, but Smith has unveiled the new poster for TUSK which you can see below. Along with that, Smith also promised he will post the trailer for TUSK on his website after it premieres at the San Diego Comic Con in a few weeks.

Based on a story developed during one of his podcasts, TUSK will tell the story of podcaster and journalist Wallace Bryton goes missing in the backwoods of Manitoba while interviewing a mysterious seafarer named Mr. Howe, his best friend and girlfriend team with an ex-cop to look for him. It remains to be seen if this will be a straight, dark horror film along the lines of RED STATE or something with a little more humor to it.

Kevin Smith promises that TUSK will see release this fall, but it remains to be seen if it will get a wide theatrical run or a limited VOD showcase. Either way, it will be intriguing to see just what TUSK is going to be.
