Apparently there’s something to The CW’s “The Vampire Diaries.” What seems like a cross between “True Blood” and THE TWILIGHT SAGA, people are actually going around saying the show isn’t that bad. Well if you’re one of those people then you’ll probably enjoy today’s news.

According to Deadline Hollywood it seems “Vampire Diaries” scribe Kevin Williamson is working on yet another teen-centric supernatural show. It was just announced that Williamson would be working on a supernatural companion piece to “Vampire Diaries” for The CW though this new project won’t have anything to do with the popular series.

So what’s this new dig about? Check it: The untitled project, which is in early stages of development at Warner Bros. TV for the CW, focuses on a group of people who investigate paranormal happenings.

Well that works. The only other bit of info we have is that Williamson’s “Vampire Diaries” partner Julie Plec is expected to come on board and assist Williamson (above) in penning this new project.

So what do you guys think? Any potential here or is this thing destined to fizzle out? Hit us with your thoughts below and keep it here as we await more from Williamson’s Untitled supernatural project.
