Key, Peele and an adorable f-ing cat head up the red-band trailer for Keanu

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele star as Clarence and Rell, two cousins who live in the city but are far from streetwise. When Rell’s beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline. But the incredibly adorable kitten becomes so coveted that the fight over his custody creates a gang war, forcing our two unwitting heroes to take the law into their own hands. The red-band trailer for KEANU is here and friends . . . I was just not prepared for how f*cking cute that cat is.

Key and Peele is some of the best sketch comedy I've seen on TV these days, and I've been looking forward to seeing these two star in a film together for some time. The fact that Peele had a hand in writing this one has guaranteed my ass in a theater seat. I love the nod to John Wick and his beloved pet, and while I'm not a "cat person", I cannot deny the charm of that damn feline.

KEANU hits theaters on April 22, 2016.
