Kick-ass Doghouse!

Holy shit! Director Jake West’s DOGHOUSE looks like it’s going to absolutely f*cking rock! You know the flick I’m talking about, right? We’ve previously written about it here and here. Well, the first official teaser trailer has just emerged from DOG’s official website and I urge you all to head on over to check it out (just click this link).

In case you’re still reading, I feel like I’ve gotta give you a quick synopsis of all the trailer’s greatness. You’ve got a cool collection of dudes looking for some fun and wind up running afoul of a wide assortment of extremely f-ed-up-looking, zombie-like females that are damn pissed off! There’s swift action, happy gore, some genuine laughs, and a general all-around feeling of fun!

In case I haven’t already summed it up, here’s DOGHOUSE’s official plot: A group of men head to a remote village to help one of their friends get over his divorce; when they get there, though, they discover that all the women have been infected with an airborne toxin that affects only the fairer sex, turning them into violent, bloodthirsty fiends who prey upon men.

The script was written by brilliant comic book creator, Dan Schaffer and stars Danny Dyer (SEVERENCE), Billy Murray (not the Ghostbuster), Christina Cole, Stephen Graham, Lee Ingleby, Noel Clarke, Terry Stone, and Emily Booth (below). I can’t wait to see this flick, but I’m going to have to stick it out until Spring 2009. Oh well, something to look forward to.
