Kiefer Mirrors poster

I can’t believe that it’s already less than two weeks before MIRRORS hits theaters! Finally, we get to see another true genre effort on the big screen. It’s been a while since THE STRANGERS, too long! But none of that matters now! I just saw a whole slew of commercials for MIRRORS last night on TV and it really does look like one kick-ass ride!

I mean, it’s tough to go wrong with a bad ass like Kiefer Sutherland as your star. Just take a look at the latest international poster for the flick above. While it may not be quite as freaky as the U.S. version, it’s still pretty friggin’ awesome! I love how that thick, scraggly crack goes right into Kiefer’s eye.

I also love the fact that Alex Aja is the director behind MIRRORS, which almost guarantees that it will deliver for the true horror fans. In my book, the man’s already two for two with THE HILLS HAVE EYES remake and HIGH TENSION. Can’t wait to see what kind of crazy horrors he reflects upon in less than two weeks!

Oh yes, and having Amy Smart (below) getting into a bathtub is another brilliant idea to put in a horror movie. Now what happens to her afterwards, well… maybe not so much. Regardless, MIRRORS hits theaters on August 15th.
