Killer Crocs don’t stop!

If you, like me, are so totally not sick of killer crocodile movies, then you’ll be glad to know they go over pretty well at the world’s most prestigious film festival too!

BLACK WATER (which the poster says is based on a true story; geez these man-eating crocs are getting lots of bio-pics lately!) director David Nerlich and writer Andrew Trauki talked to Fango about their big croc flick and how it’s shaping up.

“BLACK WATER did well at Cannes,” Traucki tells Fango. “It has now been sold to 21 countries, with, at this stage, theatrical releases planned for the UK and Australia.”

And if you are lucky enough to be in Australia and are extra lucky enough to attend the premiere, you might find your self watching the movie over a pit of live crocodiles. That’s what the distributor has planned for the launch of this flick. Hey, could be great P.R.: ”BLACK WATER gets standing ovation from humans and crocs alike!”

Or it could go the other way: “Offended, hateful audience boos BLACK WATER; mass suicidal plunge into deathpit of crocodiles occurs at movie’s end.”
