Oh, I do believe we have ourselves one bloody good trailer for our eyes to feast on. The British horror indie SALVAGE seems poised to really carve out some prime real estate in our genre. It’s got this interesting take on your basic “zombie outbreak” premise. Here, check out what I’m talking about:
When a shipping container washes ashore, its deadly cargo escapes to wreak havoc on a suburban neighborhood. Is this a terrorist attack or something more sinister? As the military enforce a quarantine, a mother must overcome all the odds to save her estranged daughter.
The trailer is nicely intense and somewhat gory. It’s definitely worth checking out directly below. SALVAGE was directed by Lawrence Gough who co-wrote the story with Colin O’Donnell. The cast consists of Shahid Ahmed, Dean Andrews, Sufian Ashraf, Ben Batt, Linzey Cocker, and Shaun Dooley. As of now, I’m still not sure when it will be coming to the U.S.
