Killer Sheep Pic!

There’s something about the concept of genetically mutated sheep on a human killing spree that just spells ‘good times’, and I can’t tell if it’s the fact that the sheep are out killing folks, or that this may actually scare some people. Seriously, in New Zealand, where the flick is set, sheep outnumber the people, so you’d think a movie like this would scare the bejesus outta them!

BLACK SHEEP, from director Jonathan King, is taking the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) by storm this year, and the site itself is sporting this sweet lamb with a vengeance pic! Holy crap, does that lamb look pissed!

I think it’s great this film is hitting the film fest circuit, but are we going to be able to see this on a national release level? I sure hope someone pics this up, the movie sounds too cool for straight-to-DVD! But after the weak box office performance by other comedy-horror flicks lately (SLITHER, SNAKES ON A PLANE), I doubt if any distributor is going to want to take a chance on this one being a success.

BLACK SHEEP stars Nathan Meister, Danielle Mason and Tammy Davis, and is premiering at the TIFF on September 10th, with an encore presentation on September 12th. For more info. on SHEEP, and the TIFF, go ahead and click HERE.
