Kolchak Chucked!

Could be because it was on ABC, or because the reinvisioning of the show just sucked, but it looks as though the latest version of NIGHT STALKER, that supernatural TV show, is now officially off the air.

According to Variety, ABC has gone as far as halting production entirely on the show effective immediately- so that it can be replaced by ‘Primetime Live’. Ouch! STALKER was about a detective (Carl Kolchak) investigating all sorts of weird shite, including werewolves and vampires on a weekly basis.

That’s what bad acting, horrible effects, and an even worse marketing effort will do to ya! Funny thing is, the original show only lasted one season back in 1974-75. At least it’s lived up to it’s predecessor in that regards….

Who says TV is dead? Can’t wait for the new BLADE series to hit the airwaves…
