When Kristen Bell returns as Veronica Mars, Neptune's snarky and savvy super sleuth, she'll have to contend with everything from flashers to frat boys and projectile vomit as she navigates a crime during Spring Break. Hulu released the first official teaser for the new series today, which now has a premiere date of July 26, 2019.

Here's the official plot synopsis for the next chapter of VERONICA MARS:

Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the family of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.

Joining Bell on her mission to solve more mysteries than MURDER SHE WROTE's Jessica Fletcher are original stars Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs III, Francis Capra, and Ryan Hansen, in addition to newcomers J.K. Simmons, Patton Oswalt, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste, who will star as the stlyish and sly badass Nicole Malloy.

Hulu's VERONICA MARS revival will consist of eight episodes in which Bell will once again bring her beloved character back to the fans.
