I seriously hope that there is no truth to this
rumor, because if so than one of the greatest horror franchise’s of all time
might as well not even exist.

possible information leak about the next film in the Freddy Krueger franchise,
and sadly enough I almost wish they were talking about a prequel.
It seems that someone is claiming that the
studios are in negotiations right now with John Carpenter over the rights to his
horror icon Michael Myers. Meaning that if they get the go ahead from Carpenter,
we would see a Freddy vs Michael. Seriously, this is the WORST thing that I’ve
heard in the horror world in quite some time.
And to make matters worse, and give the rumor a
little more substance, Robert Englund himself told MTV
here the following:“I’ve heard [the movie studio] is in talks with John Carpenter [director of the
original ‘Halloween’]. So maybe Freddy and Jason are going to meet up with
Michael Myers.”
Awesome. Any other horror franchises you want to
ruin while your at it Hollywood? How about having a Predator ride by on Jaw’s
back during the climax of the film, and maybe he can throw a Chucky doll at
them. Might as well do all the horror greats at once and get them over with. Is
it just me or is this absolutely ridiculous? Spit some bullets below and let me
