Kyle Richards is back as Lindsey Wallace in Halloween Kills

Anthony Michael Hall is taking over the role of Tommy Doyle from the original HALLOWEEN's Brian Andrews (and from HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS' Paul Rudd) in the upcoming sequel HALLOWEEN KILLS… but Tommy's pal and neighbor Lindsey Wallace is also returning to the screen in HALLOWEEN KILLS, and she's going to be played by the same actress who played her in 1978.

That actress is Kyle Richards, who is also known these days for starring in the reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and for being the aunt of Paris Hilton.

Richards' HALLOWEEN KILLS casting was confirmed by HalloweenMovies.com, who also got a quote from producer Malek Akkad about it:

We couldn’t be happier, and are so excited that Kyle is coming home to her Halloween roots."

HALLOWEEN 2018 director David Gordon Green is returning to direct both HALLOWEEN KILLS and another sequel, HALLOWEEN ENDS. These films will be shot back-to-back; once KILLS wraps, there will be a "short breather" before the filming of ENDS begins.

Richards joins a cast that includes Hall, Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Nick Castle, and possibly Charles Cyphers.

Green wrote the screenplay for HALLOWEEN KILLS with Danny McBride and Scott Teems. The film is scheduled for an October 16, 2020 release.

Written by Green, McBride, Paul Brad Logan, and Chris Bernier, HALLOWEEN ENDS will reach theatres on October 15, 2021.

Akkad is producing these films with Jason Blum and Bill Block. Green, McBride, and Curtis serve as executive producers alongside John Carpenter and Cooper Samuelson.

HALLOWEEN wasn't the only horror film Richards appeared in as a child. She was also in THE CAR, Tobe Hooper's EATEN ALIVE, and the dark Disney film THE WATCHER IN THE WOODS.
