Pop star and sometime actress Kylie Minogue is joining Brad Peyton‘s disaster epic SAN ANDREAS. The 3D earthquake movie already has a sexy cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino, and Alexandra Daddario. The sheer amount of bewbage in this cast is mind boggling as is the concept that the shifting of the titular fault will cause some major jiggling.

SAN ANDREAS is currently filming in Australia where Minogue is from. It is unknown what her role in the film will be but there is a possibility she could be playing herself. Here is what we do know of the plot.

The New Line disaster movie involves “the Big One” hitting California, forcing a special-ops firefighter (Johnson) and his ex-wife (Gugino) to make the treacherous journey from Los Angeles to San Francisco to rescue their daughter.

Peyton has previously worked with Dwayne Johnson on JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND. SAN ANDREAS is expected to be a family friendly action movie but beyond that we don’t know much. There haven’t been many big budget disaster movies in recent years that have not involved either aliens or been helmed by Roland Emmerich. JOURNEY 2 was a fun movie and a major improvement over the first film, but it was also very cartoony. Here’s hoping this cast can deliver a fun popcorn movie.

SAN ANDREAS will destroy theaters on June 5, 2015.
