Yesterday I told you about M. Night Shyamalan’s LADY IN THE WATER premiering on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, and low and behold a few hours later it showed up on Yahoo!Movies for our viewing pleasure.

I must I was skeptical about how ‘horrorific’ this tale was going to be. I thought it was more leaning on the fantasy of a water nymph surfacing in some apartment complex pool. After checking out this trailer, I can now see why this ones gonna be scary. Werewolves. Or some freaky-ass dogs. Either way, I’m pumped for this release!

I don’t see a big ‘twist’ ending here, as signature in Shyamalan movies, but I’m sure there will be one- probably something like the nymph’s one of the werewolves, or somehwere along those lines. I guess we’ll just have wait to see.

But you shouldn’t wait to check out the trailer, which you can snag by clicking HERE. You’ll notice that it’s rated PG-13 for some frightening sequences, and judging from the trailer, I can totally see it. No big reason for blood here, just an assload of spook scares- count me in! And doesn’t Bryce Dallas Howard just look plain creepy here? She looks way creepier here than she did in THE VILLAGE, in fact, she doesn’t even look like the same person!

Oh well. Be sure to check out THE LADY IN THE WATER, which hits theaters July 21st.
