Director Greg William Stechman gave us the heads up that his newest feature LADYBUGS has a trailer up over at the flick’s MySpace page. You can check out the skinny on his last flick, THIS HOLLOW SACRAMENT, in the DVD Pub.
On to the synopsis:
After a pregnancy celebration turns into a drunk driving accident for a married couple, they end up causing the death of a reclusive loner’s beloved dog. Little do they know that this introverted stranger has been watching them, and has plans for them that make the death of his canine seem like a fairy tale.
Kinda twisted, eh? I gotta say the trailer looks promising with a slowly building menace to it, and I like the fact that a lot of the wickedness at play happens in broad daylight. Additionally, lead actor Matthew Donaldson appears to have that quiet sick f*ck vibe down. Overall this presents as a potentially mean ass indie thriller. Check it out and then spit bullets on if YOU think it’ll deliver!
