Stranger Things Millie Bobby Brown

The Netflix series Stranger Things has proven to be a pop culture phenomenon, and with tie-ins like books and a video game in the works, it looks like its universe is only going to get bigger. The show has been a career breakthrough for some of the actors involved, and the most popular character of the bunch is probably the powerful telekinetic Eleven, played by child actress Millie Bobby Brown.

Brown recently finished working on the upcoming GODZILLA sequel, and is now back on the Stranger Things set for the production of the show's third season. While new episodes are being filmed, Netflix has been releasing promotional featurettes, and the latest one is all about Millie Bobby Brown – her approach to playing Eleven, and how impressed everyone around her has been with her performance.

If you're looking for information on the third season, you won't find it in that featurette. What we do know is that it's going to be set during the summer of 1985 and the characters are still going to be dealing with the presence of the evil creature the Mind Flayer.

They've shut the door on the Mind Flayer, but not only is it still there in the Upside Down, it's very much aware of the kids, and particularly Eleven. It had not encountered her and her powers until that final episode (of season 2). Now, it knows that she's out there."

Brown's co-stars on the show include Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Dacre Montgomery, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Francesca Reale, Maya Hawke, Jake Busey, and Cary Elwes.

Netflix has not yet announced a premiere date for Stranger Things season 3, but we'll let you know when they do.
