As we all know, Heath Ledger is playing The Joker in Christopher Nolan’s follow up to BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT. The film’s cast and crew have been pretty tight lipped about spoiling the next entry in the BATMAN saga, with only tidbits of information spilling out here and there.
Well according to Michael Caine, who reprises his role as Alfred in the new film, Heath Ledger may be doing something right as he portrays The Joker.
After a hearty chuckle, Caine said, “I’ll tell you who it’s about. It’s about Heath Ledger as The Joker. He will be the talking point of the next Batman.” Michael Caine added about Ledger, “one of the scariest performances I’ve ever seen.”
