Leprechaun vs Wishmaster: Face-Off

The power of a wish is an extraordinary thing. For some, it will push them to achieve greatness in their work or their personal life. For others, it’s your heart’s desire being fulfilled at long last. And for these two supernatural beings, wishes can be the ultimate weapon.

First up, this bad dude shows us that evil can come in small packages. He’s Irish every day of the year, but the Leprechaun is not someone you want to stumble across on St. Patrick’s Day. He has a penchant for hoarding his gold and woe be anyone that thinks about taking it. If you go after his gold, he’ll bust out his lucky charms to make you regret it in all sorts of ways. Jennifer Aniston was able to escape his grasp and acquire quite a bit of gold herself, but not many others can say the same. If he’s going to kill you… at least he looks like he’s having fun while doing it.

On the other hand, Wishmaster takes wishes very seriously. Deadly serious. He’s been trapped inside a gem for thousands of years. When he is finally released, all he wants to do is grant as many wishes as he possibly can so he can collect enough souls in order to open a portal to his home world. From there, the Djinn will overtake the world and… we will all be screwed. This guy has his fun by twisting his prey’s wishes into a very literal form of what they are asking for. Spoiler alert: it never turns out well for them. But what will happen when these magical foes cross paths? Be careful what you wish for as we find out on… FACE OFF!

This episode of Face Off is written by Bryan Wolford, narrated by Shawn Knippelberg, and edited by Stephen White. But don’t let us have the final word — tell us in the comments which magical creature is your favorite — Leprechaun or Wishmaster?
