Lesbian Vampires

There’s a flick that starts production on May 19th and I’m guessing it’s going to be right up our alley. It’s called LESBIAN VAMPIRE KILLERS. I could conceivably just end this article at that (what more do we need to know?), but I wouldn’t want to come off as lazy. Plus, there are a few more tidbits I can submit.

British-based Momentum Films greenlit the project, believing it has the potential to become the next SHAUN OF THE DEAD. Easy there, guys. It seems like EVERY horror/comedy that comes along is initially deemed the next SHAUN and none of ’em ever live up to it. However, I am willing to see for myself, of course. Associate producer, Rob Lewis says, “I can’t quite believe that what started out as a drunken pub dare is going to be an actual film, with proper actors and everything. Thanks to Momentum, it’s going to be a decently budgeted slice of Brit comedy/horror—with one hell of a ‘come-on’ title.” I agree with him there. But is there an actual plot? Well, have a look:

With their women enslaved by the local pack of lesbian vampires thanks to an ancient curse, the remaining menfolk of a rural Welsh town send two hapless young lads out onto the moors as a sacrifice. The two hapless lads will be played by James Corden and Matthew Horne who both currently work together on the BBC sitcom GAVIN AND STACEY. This could be good news regarding the SHAUN comparison—Simon Pegg and Nick Frost both worked together previously on the sitcom SPACED. I’ll be sure to keep you updated on anything having to do with those LESBIAN blood-suckers.

This pic had to be inspiration for the movie.
