Lexi NOT chatting with fans!

Ah the internet, you lying piece of shit. Just when I thought I could trust you, you pull a fast one and now I must reconsider everything I thought I knew. And everything I thought I loved…

Okay, that’s a little melodramatic, although it might be the reaction of some to the revelation that the “Lexi Alexander” who was chatting with fans on the Superhero Hype message boards is not the “Lexi Alexander” directing THE PUNISHER: WAR ZONE at the moment, but just a lousy sack of worthlessness pretending to be her. So all those scoops “Lexi” gave them about THE PUNISHER? Scrap ’em… Lionsgate gave S.H.H. the bad news over the weekend that they’d been had (along with all of us directing you their way). Comic-book geeks thrilled to be chatting with a hot female director immediately began considering suicide, or worse. (In a word, “peniscide”.)

I suppose the way to look at this is we’re pretty much back to square one with WAR ZONE, and that’s cool for us people who still like not knowing everything about a flick before it comes out (although my job admittedly makes that pretty difficult). The other way to look at it is, never believe anything the internet tells you again, ever (my colleagues and I being the exception, of course *wink*).
