Life of the Party trailer sends Melissa McCarthy back to college

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

If movies like TAMMY and THE BOSS appealed to your comedic sensibilities, then it's likely that you'll get a kick out of LIFE OF THE PARTY, another collaboration between husband and wife team Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone. After her husband suddenly dumps her, longtime dedicated housewife Deanna (McCarthy) turns regret into re-set by going back to college, the very same college which her daughter attends. Ruh oh. Needless to say, her daughter isn’t entirely sold on the idea, but Deanna, now known as Dee Rock, plunges headlong into the campus experience by embracing freedom, fun, and frat boys on her own terms, finding her true self in a senior year no one ever expected.

In addition to Melissa McCarthy, the upcoming flick also stars Maya Rudolph, Gillian Jacobs, Julie Bowen, Matt Walsh, Stephen Root, Jacki Weaver, and Molly Gordon. LIFE OF THE PARTY will hit theaters on May 11, 2018.
