On the heels of yesterday's announcement that Neil Patrick Harris and his real-life husband David Burtka would be appearing on FX's "American Horror Story: Freak Show", we've now learned that AHS alum Lily Rabe will be reprising her "American Horror Story: Asylum" role of Sister Mary Eunice later this season.
EW has learned that Rabe's appearance will be in the tenth episode of the season, which is also their big winter cliffhanger. They've also learned the reason for Sister Mary’s return involves another returned character we've already seen this season, Pepper (Naomi Grossman), and how she ended up going from the freak show to Briarcliff, the titular institution in "AHS: Asylum".
I've really been digging "American Horror Story: Freak Show" (peep our review of last nights episode HERE) and it'll be exciting to see Rabe return to the AHS universe.
"American Horror Story: Freak Show" airs on Wednesday nights on FX.
