I’m going to go ahead and assume you guys are sold on John Stockwell’s DARK TIDE, right? I mean come on… it’s Halle Berry… all wet… battling sharks. What’s not to love?!
Now we’ve recently been bringing you any DARK TIDE update that rolls our way, including posters, trailers and the film’s VOD release date. But when will this thing be dropping onto DVD and Blu-Ray? Thankfully a press release from Anchor Bay just dropped answering that very question!
You ready for this? Halle Berry battles some Great Whites when DARK TIDE drops onto DVD and Blu-Ray April 24th! Mark it on your calenders folks! Unfortunately no details have been released regarding the special features that will be included with the film but I’m sure that will be coming our way sooner rather than later.
Kate, a shark expert whose business has been failing ever since a shark attack killed a fellow diver under her command. Once dubbed “the shark whisperer,” Kate is haunted by the memory of the attack and unable to get back into the water. With bills piling up and the bank about to foreclose on Kate’s boat, Kate’s old flame Jeff presents her with a lucrative opportunity: lead a thrill-seeking millionaire businessman on a dangerous shark dive…outside the cage. Battling her self-doubts and fear, Kate accepts the proposal — and sets a course for the world’s deadliest feeding ground: Shark Alley.
Along with Berry (below) the killer shark romp also stars Olivier Martinez, Ralph Brown, Adi Shankar, Luke Tyler, Thoko Ntshinga, Sizwe Msutu and Mark Elderkin. DARK TIDE hits VOD starting March 8th followed by a limited theatrical run on March 30th and ends with a DVD and Blu-Ray release April 24th.
