Friend of the site and all around horror maestro Lee Perkins gave us a heads up over the weekend that the little independent horror film LIVE EVIL has landed a limited theatrical release to go along with its debut on DVD!
Monogram Releasing is setting up 300 theaters nationwide to enjoy LIVE EVIL on the big screen starting Friday, September 18th! Nice! Then shortly thereafter the film will be hitting DVD and Video On Demand starting on Tuesday, November 3rd… right after Halloween, baby!
Since it has been awhile, LIVE EVIL is basically about how human blood is no longer fit for consumption as the vampire race slowly becomes extinct. Sounds a little like DAYBREAKERS, but I can still roll with it. The film’s directed by Jay Woelfel, and stars Tim Thomerson, Mark Hengst, Åsa Wallander, and Perkins.
I can dig on the concept of the film well-enough, but I think it’s about time for a flippin’ poster or at least a few stills to be released to get us pumped up for it even more (though the BTS hottie pic above works pretty well). That release date is just a month away!
