So it seems in the past few days the casting news coming out of the WARM BODIES camp has been coming at us fast and furiously! I mean, first the great John Malkovich is tied to the project then a trio of names decide to join the fun. And now according to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting there seems to be yet another name about to join the zombie romance.
Hottie Lizzy Caplan is the latest name attached to the project. Apparently the actress is in final talks to join the Jonathan Levine film, or so says BD. Now I’ve been a huge fan of Caplan for a while now, with her work on “Party Down” putting me head over heals for her. So with that being said it’s a no brainer that I’m stoked for this news. It seems this one is quickly shaping up to be something you might want to take notice of, eh?
WARM BODIES follows an existentially tormented zombie named R that begins an unlikely friendship with the human girlfriend of one of his victims. The blossoming relationship begins to flower the zombie’s dormant humanity.
There’s no telling who Caplan (pictured) might play if she does indeed sign on but I’m sure she’ll fit right in regardless. She would join Malkovich, Teresa Palmer, Nicholas Hoult, Rob Corddry, Analeigh Tipton, Dave Franco and Cory Hardrict. I’m sure more WARM BODIES news will spill our way soon so be sure to check back for more as we hear it.
