First casting news has hit concerning the upcoming remake of THE FOG, and it’s going to be attack of the TV people! According to , Tom Welling and Maggie Grace have been signed to star. Tom is currently starring as teen-angst Superman with the kung fu grip on SMALLVILLE for the WB. Grace is having a grand ole’ time as a spoiled hottie on ABC’s LOST.
Guess you gotta keep them costs down, eh boys? I’ll lay ya a drink and a lapdance this turns into another PG-13 horror. Can ya feel my excitement rising? Or is it bile?
Welling will play a local boat owner who never left the town, and Grace will portray a college girl who is back in her hometown for the summer. Good luck to the both of them, as what little I’ve seen of their work has been solid. For their sakes, however, I hope the project they’ve chosen doesn’t suck. And that the titular fog doesn’t keep things too cold. It’s be a shame to have to cover up Maggie’s legs.
