To go along with the launching of the official site earlier this week (check out our man Omar’s report on that HERE), Yahoo!Movies has been updated with a buttload of new images from this summer’s horror-romp 1408, and while there’s nothing to really write home about, it’s pretty cool to see star John Cusack cutting it up in a horror show!

Most of these images look to be taken straight from the trailer that’s out there, so nothing new or revealing to say the least, other than the fact that the flick looks promising, and may just do the Stephen King story it’s based on some justice. King adaptation’s can swing wide in either direction, and it doesn’t look like this one will swing to the side of sucking balls- at least, not yet anyway.
