It was only a few days ago that we learned Jackie Weaver would be joining Chan-wook Park’s upcoming thriller STOKER and now here I am with even more STOKER casting news.
According to The Warp the latest name joining the much-anticipated project is youngster Lucas Till. Till (right) is relatively new to the industry but is already racking up credits like WALK THE LINE, BATTLE: LOS ANGELES and THE SPY NEXT DOOR. Not too shabby. And now he’s working with the great Chan-wook Park? Pretty impressive Mr. Till.
The film follows an eccentric teen named India Stoker who, while mourning the death of her father, suddenly must deal with an uncle who mysteriously appears…and the strange things that then happen.
Till joins the previously cast Jackie Weaver, Nicole Kidman (below), Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode in the project, which is due to hit theaters sometime in 2012 from a script by actor Wentworth Miller (under the alias Ted Foulke).
