Lucas Till will return as Havok in X-Men: Apocalypse

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

We're going to have quite the mutant-palooza with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE; director Bryan Singer has added yet another familiar mutant to the film's growing cast. Singer used Instagram to announce the return of Lucas Till for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Till has played the mutant Havok in both X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.

I'm a little surprised Singer even bothered to put Lucas Till in DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, he didn't have all that much to do in his limited screen-time; perhaps those of you who are more comic-literate than I can fill me in on whether he has a bigger part to play in the Apocalypse storyline. Truth be told, neither the character nor the actor particularly did anything for me so this news isn't as exciting to me as it may be to some. Anyone out there glad Havok will be putting in an appearance?

It feels as though we've had lots of X-MEN: APOCALYPSE casting news this past month; Olivia Munn joining the cast as Psylocke, Lana Condor as Jubilee, as well as the confirmation of Ben Hardy stepping into the wings of Angel.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE has yet to begin filming but the movie is set for a May 26, 2016 release.
