Baz Luhrmann Everybody seems to be getting in on the production diary game these days, whether it be through good old-fashioned video or, as in renowned director Baz Luhrmann’s case, podcast.

He sat down to record ten podcasts throughout the filming of his upcoming epic drama AUSTRALIA in a series titled “Set to Screen Series with Baz Luhrmann.” Obviously, he’ll be discussing different aspects of the making of the film and as if the inside sneak peek wasn’t enough, aspiring filmmakers out there “will be invited to create and share their own film projects for a chance to join Luhrmann on the film’s promotional tour and have their project included in AUSTRALIA’s DVD release.”The press release also makes mention of “other rewards”, which of course can only mean one thing. That’s right, smoking hot tail autographed pictures.

The film stars Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman as a couple who inherit a ranch in World War II era Australia and as they drive their cattle across the outback, they run right into the middle of a Japanese bombing. It’s set for release November 14th.
