British actor Luke Evans is now in negations to play Eric Draven in THE CROW reboot. And having seen him rock it recently as another vigilante type of character in NO ONE LIVES (READ MY REVIEW HERE), I gotta say it, he's a pretty solid choice in my opinion. He has the looks, the chops and the presence to do the role justice! Here's the deets courtesy of Deadline:

The distributor looked at Tom Hiddleston and more recently Alexander Skarsgard, the latter of whom has a bunch of offers after Warner Bros halted Tarzan. Ultimately, they have decided to push the start date to early next year to accommodate his schedule in order to secure Evans, who is currently promoting the release of Fast 6.

The new THE CROW will be directed by J. Javier Gutierrez and is slated to enter production in early 2014. So what do you think? You like this dude as the next Crow?
