Mad Max 4 a go?

Alright, this bulls**t has got to
stop. If you click

here
you can head to SciFi Wire and read about
how George Miller still wants to do Mad Max 4.
Miller said: “Mad Max 4 is so prepared, there seems
to be a lot of momentum for it to get done,” Miller told the magazine. “Right
now, I’ve got another, smaller film to do, and then we’ll gear up and do Mad
Max
again. In what form and so on, I don’t know. But it hasn’t gotten stale
in the meantime, and I’m very, very keen to do it. It seems like there’s the
appetite out there.”

This is the bulls**t I’m referring too. An appetite for MAD MAX? Don’t
get me wrong, I love the trilogy featuring the road warrior, but is it really
necessary for them to make another one? I mean come on, how much appetite can
their be for a 4th MAD MAX movie, the third one wasn’t even very good. And with
Gibson wanting nothing to do with it, it’s going to end up being absolutely
terrible.

It’s the same situation as the whole INDIAN JONES project. Why people fell
insistent on adding a 4th movie to trilogies from 20 years ago is beyond me.
Maybe we should all start a petition, and tell Miller to jump on board some
other post-apocalyptic film.
