Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen both returning for Taken 3

Looks like the family is staying together. TAKEN 3 will reunite Liam Neeson with his on screen ex-wife and daughter as both Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace are on-board for the sequel. While we all know the famous “set of skills” scene was in reference to saving his daughter in the first film, Neeson’s character was tasked with rescuing his ex in the sequel. Both films were box office hits, so what will become of the Mills clan the third time around?

Forest Whitaker has been in talks to join TAKEN 3, but so far only Janssen and Grace are officially on board alongside Neeson. With TAKEN 2 director Olivier Megaton returnin as well, there may be some special treats coming in what is being called the “final” TAKEN film. I would likely expect diminishing returns as Neeson has made numerous movies that have similar sets of skills to TAKEN (UNKNOWN, NON-STOP), so TAKEN 3 will really need to reinvent the formula is audiences are going to be expected to shell out for tickets.

TAKEN 3 is expected to shoot this year for what I would expect to be a Neeson Season release date in early 2015.
