Channeling Classic Misery Vibes
The premise and trailer are giving me Misery vibes. Does anyone else feel that? I’m loving the on-screen chemistry between Mirren and Ehrenreich, and I’m interested to see how Olivia Cooke’s character navigates their twisted imaginations. With movies like Rian Johnson’s Knives Out Mysteries helping to restore Hollywood’s interest in the murder mystery genre, I would love to see more projects like this get a green light.
From the Swiss Alps to the Silver Screen
A Talent for Murder is getting a theatrical release from Bleecker Street and LD Entertainment on October 23, 2026, following its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Production began in January 2025. Although set in the Swiss Alps, filming took place across Rome, Italy, London, and on location in Switzerland.
