Oh man, I would have taken any bet that you came up with that nothing could even mildly peak my interest in the upcoming MAN-THING, even though it’s brought to us by Lions Gate and Marvel. I mean, not even from a cheesy movie standpoint. Just listen to the synopsis from the Sci Fi Channel which will host its debut:
Angry conflicts arise between an oil tycoon developer and the Seminole Indians who are being pushed out of their ancestral homelands. When construction crewmembers start turning up dead, law enforcement immediately suspects the Seminoles. But further investigation points to the swamp creature know as Man-Thing, a dangerous entity that feeds off human emotion and literally burns those who know fear.
Grim, eh? But then Comics Continuum had to go and post 19 promotional pics from the flick, and some of them look awesome! I know, who could have guessed it, but now I want to see the damn thing, if only for the special effects and the kills. So check out a couple of my favorites below, or peruse the full set here.
