Mardsen Teams Rambo

Matthew Mardsen has shown his ‘skills’ in the acting department in flicks like TAMARA and ANACONDAS: THE HUNT FOR THE BLOOD ORCHID, and will be seen in the next RESIDENT EVIL movie entitled EXTINCTION.

But those are nothing compared to the gig he just landed.

According to Variety, Mardsen has joined Sylvester Stallone in the upcoming RAMBO IV: PEARL OF THE COBRA! Mardsen plays a mercenary that helps Rambo on his mission to blow some shit up and kill a bunch of people.

While this may not seem like ‘big’ news, the fact that RAMBO is coming back at us with a fourth film after a (almost) 20 year hiatus is pretty frickin’ huge. We should all be thanking our lucky stars that the world is ready for another RAMBO movie, and let’s hope they don’t hold back on the action, the violence, and the ever present One-Liners that Stallone has made a career out of.

RAMBO IV begins filming next Friday in Thailand. No word on a perspective release date, but let’s hope they hook us up with a real Holiday treat, and shoot for somewhere around Christmas time. If we’re lucky.

Will the new Rambo keep the old hair? I hope so.
