Mark Hamill is captured by the Joker and Trickster in new animated short!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

To many people of a certain age, Mark Hamill's voice is the voice of The Joker. Not only was he The Joker in the 90s animated series (taking over from originally cast Tim Curry), but in various ancillary media, like the ARKHAM ASYLUM games. And it's easy to see why: his gleeful yet sinister laugh and demeanor fits the comic-book character perfectly.

However, he has done a lot of voice-acting since then, including as The Flash villain The Trickster on JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED (not to mention he portrayed him earlier than that...and in live-action, no less! Twice!) So it's fun to see how meta this most recent JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION animated short is, with both The Joker and The Trickster kidnapping Mark Hamill (as himself), and Hamill using his voice-acting skills to get himself out of it. It's fun and cute, and you should all give it a watch!

Meanwhile, you can next see Mark Hamill in the flesh as Luke Skywalker in THE LAST JEDI, December 15th.
