Mark Wahlberg gets shit done in teaser for tomorrow’s Mile 22 trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Mark Wahlberg is good at getting shit done, provided that shit involves breaking bones, shooting guns, and looking mildly bewildered. The actor's next film will likely find him doing all three as he reunites with director Peter Berg for the fourth time after collaborating on LONE SURVIVOR, DEEPWATER HORIZON, and PATRIOTS DAY. The upcoming MILE 22 finds Mark Wahlberg starring as James Silva, an operative of the CIA's most highly-prized and least understood unit. Aided by a top-secret tactical command team, Silva is tasked with retrieving and transporting an asset who holds life-threatening information to Mile 22 before the enemy closes in. Tomorrow will bring the first trailer for MILE 22, but STX Films have released a short teaser to give us a little taste of what's to come, and, well, it looks like a typical Mark Wahlberg action flick, but throw in Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead), Iko Uwais (THE RAID), Ronda Rousey (FURIOUS 7), and John Malkovich (DEEPWATER HORIZON) sporting a J. Jonah Jameson haircut, and you've my attention. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the full trailer!

MILE 22 will hit theaters on August 3, 2018.
