UPDATE: Now updated with a "human-sized" version of the teaser. Check it out below!

Earlier this week we reported that the first trailer for Peyton Reed's ANT-MAN was on its way, and Marvel has now released a video confirming it's debut on Tuesday, January 6th, during the Agent Carter premiere. ANT-MAN has had a shakier production history than other Marvel films, so I imagine there are a lot of fans approaching this cinematic entry with caution.  In true teaser-of-a-trailer fashion, they've included some footage of the upcoming preview, except that it's the size of an . . . well, you'll see.

Oh Marvel, we see what you did there. Given that AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON is coming out in 4 months time, I suppose it'd be wise to deliver a marketing strategy that really separates ANT-MAN from other comic book films. This trailer may be a good indication of whether this movie will fall by the wayside like some fear, or rise above expecation to deliver something different and fun.  The casting is on point, so let's see what Reed and Co. have cooking come next Tuesday.

ANT-MAN, starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, and Corey Stoll, will land in theaters on July 17.
