Mass Mummy updates

With the recent release of the brand new teaser poster (check that out HERE) for THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR, Universal decided they needed to do a lot more than simply pimp the poster out… they had to pimp both the OFFICIAL WEBSITE and director Rob Cohen’s OFFICIAL BLOG out as well, with mass updates and a new look to go around.

First up, the new website is now live, featuring your standard fare of synopsis summaries, images, and a place to register for updates. However, there’s no sign of a trailer, and all the images that are there we’ve already seen a bunch of times. But it’s rockin’ the movie’s musical score (which is pretty cool, I suppose), and it’s definitely worth a look–CHECK IT OUT!

From there is another update from Cohen on his official blog, which has been revamped with a new look and format. There you can find new video features, a few new behind the scenes images, some cool concept art (like the one pictured of a ‘warrior’ above), and an update as to what the status of the film is thus far. If you’ve been following Cohen’s blog during production, you should be interesting in checking this out–it’s worth a visit.

Have a blast with the updated sites, and get ready to watch Brenden Fraser and Jet Li duke it out in THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR in theaters everywhere August 1st.
