Matt Bomer & Cheyenne Jackson join FX’s American Horror Story: Hotel

American Horror Story

During the closing night of this year's Playfest it was announced Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson will play the male leads in American Horror Story: Hotel (joining the previously cast Lady Gaga), while Jessica Lange confirmed that she will not be back for the fifth season of the FX anthology series.

Matt Bomer is probably best known for his roles on the TV series White Collar and Chuck, and he has also appeared in films like MAGIC MIKE and WINTER'S TALE. Cheyenne Jackson played TGS cast member Danny Baker on NBC's 30 Rock, and he has starred in several movies, including Paul Greengrass' UNITED 93 and Steven Soderbergh's HBO film BEHIND THE CANDELABRA.

Not much is known about the plot for American Horror Story: Hotel, but earlier this year FX CEO John Landgraf said the fifth season will be a "large reinvention" of the series.

American Horror Story: Hotel will premiere in October 2015.
